Sandhill Standard Poodles, owned by Janis Morrison Bates, is based in Hudson, Quebec, and has been in operation since 1992. 

In this time, Sandhill has produced 13 home-raised litters and 16 Champions. Most of our puppies are sold, by our choice, to verifiably responsible pet homes.

We breed for health, good temperament and versatility. All our breeding stock are conformation champions. Our dogs are frequently found in the obedience and agility rings.

Sandhill Standard Poodles is not a kennel. All of our puppies are born and raised and live in our house along with our own dogs until they are ready to go to their new homes at 9 weeks. Our older dogs are never placed, but live with us all their lives.

Our own Sandhill dogs lead very busy dog lives - running freely in the woods, spending summers on the beach, participating in obedience and agility classes.
